My projector's remote receiver has been disabled. How can I re-enable it?

If your projector's remote receiver has been disabled, you can re-enable remote operation by holding down the Menu button on either the remote control or the main unit.  Hold the button for the time specified below, according to the model of your projector:

Longer than 5 seconds:

EMP-6000, EMP-6100, EMP-83, EMP-83e, EMP-83H, EMP-83He, EMP-822, EMP-822H, EMP-260, EMP-280, EMP-270, EB-D290

Longer than 15 seconds:

If your projector is not responding to your remote control, please check the remote control itself:

  1. Check that the battery is installed correctly, or try another battery.

  2. Try the remote control on another compatible projector.
