Before the printer is able to communicate over the network, you will need to install the necessary software to control the printer and configure it for network use. You can download this software from the support website or install it from the supplied driver CD.
For assistance with downloading the software see the article How to download drivers and software from the Epson website.

If you already have this software installed on your computer, move to "Configuring a wired network printer". Verify that the software is installed and then connect your Epson product to a network access point via an Ethernet cable.
If you are unsure of your printer's IP address you can check this using the EpsonNet Config software; this is available on your computer if you installed your product using the supplied CD or you can download it from your product's driver and software page.
Open the EpsonNet Config from the Applications (Mac OS X) or Programs (Windows) folder on your computer. The IP address of your Epson product is displayed to the right of the model name in the EpsonNet Config window.
If you require to set a static IP address on the printer, double-click on the model name in the list and browse to Network Interface > TCP/IP > Basic, and specify an IP address to be assigned in the dialog that appears.
For further information on using EpsonNet Config, we recommend viewing the Help section in the EpsonNet Config application.
