If you are experiencing an issue where the print result appears to be stretched vertically, or horizontally it can be resolved with a Windows Update.

  1. Check you are up-to-date with the latest Windows Updates. If you are not, go to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2911106/en.
  2. Once the Windows Update is complete attempt a print if the issue still occurs follow the steps below:

    1. Change the printer to a square resolution (e.g.180 x 180 dpi).
    2. If there is no square resolution, select nearly square (e.g.160 x 144 dpi).
    3. Try a print this should now appear in the correct dimensions.

Note:

The following models do not support square, or nearly square resolution:

  • TM-U295
